Redwood Burl Platter

This is one of a kind redwood Birdseye platter set on a purple heart base. It was cut from a piece of redwood tree root. It was one branch of the original root off a very large tree. This branch was four feet across and eight feet long and had been buried on a beach for decades. It was from an original growth tree thousands of years old. It has been sealed in a polymer for a durable long lasting hard finish.
